This is a fairly straight forward arrangement of a traditional carol (French melody IRIS) that has been designed to give each instrument an interesting part to play with a number of different groups playing the melody and accompaniment. It should work well with choir or congregational singing the traditional words. There is a descant in the final verse. Parts for Eb Horns, Bb and Eb Bass.
[I decided to arrange all the Christmas carols for my concert band after many years of playing the same-verse arrangement 4 or 5 times always with the flute, clarinet and trumpet having the melody!]
