Christians Awake Concert Band Score and Parts PDF
John Wainwright (1723-1768) was an English church organist and composer who composed the music for the Christmas hymn "Christians Awake, Salute the Happy Morn".
This gentle arrangement is for full concert band based on my flute trio version with piano. After a short introduction by the band- upper woodwinds and horns, more instrumental groups enter on successive repeats with the climax in the 4th verse for full band: a key change and an addition of a descant line. There is also an optional piano part which can be printed (Not on the score). Both F and Eb Horn parts, Bb and Eb Bass parts are also included.
